This print is a reproduction of an original oil painting inspired by the skating of Korean figure skater Yelim Kim. It is an observation of the landing of a figure skating jump. The take-off of this jump can be seen in a companion piece. This second movement is lighter than the first, both in movement and in tones, to communicate the delicacy with which the athlete lands.
The end result is a soft, yet dynamic painting, which draws the viewers eye without demanding it.
Colours may vary slightly between monitors.
*This is an UNFRAMED print. All pictured frames are display suggestions only.*

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
