Giclée printed reproduction of an original oil painting
Semi abstract figure skater in motion art print
Black and peach on a glacial blue background.
200gsm high quality art paper with a matte finish
My series of abstract figures was created with the aim of capturing the fleeting shapes glimpsed when a skater spin at high speeds. The rotations are so fast that parts of the body seem to disappear or duplicate in the moment. These original oil illustrations capture that unique sense of movement in this series with bold brushstrokes and textured oil paint applied with a palette knife. It resulted in a mini series of semi abstract highly modern artworks, with a minimalist aesthetic. They are available reproduced in giclée prints in sizes ranging from 10x15 cm cards up to 29.7x42cm wall art to suit any space, and the series of four prints can be displayed together as a set or separately.
This print is a reproduction of an original oil painting inspired by the skating of Anastasia Gubanova.

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
