My original seagull oil paintings were inspired by memories of growing up on the north west coast of Ireland. They evoke the feeling of eating chips on a pier, watching seagulls swarm above and all around, the taste of the salt air and the brisk wind on a day when the sky isn't blue or grey but brilliant white. Frequently Asked Questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Custom and personalised orders
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
