Giclée printed reproduction of an original oil painting
Semi-abstract multifigure skater in motion art print
Crystal teal shades complimented by coral peach skin tones on a gentle blue ice background
200gsm high quality art paper with a matte finish
Two figures are used to create an almost abstract image conveying the speed, energy and grace of the figure skating sit spin position. I'm passionate about showing the strength and athleticism of the female figure and the way that this physicality creates gentle beauty. Elegance and power united and complimenting each other perfectly. This piece is a celebration of the female form in all it's capability and beauty.
The gentle combination of cool and warm colours make this an ideal finishing touch for that "Ice but make it cosy" skate aesthetic in any room - be it a coaches office, young figure skaters bedroom or the home of a true fan of the sport. As a highly unique artwork, both in subject matter and form, it also makes an intriguing addition to the collection of an art lover who values cultivating a home gallery where each piece comes with a story.
This print is a reproduction of an original oil painting inspired by the skating of Korean figure skating legend Yuna Kim.
Colours may vary slightly between monitors.

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
