Giclée printed reproduction of an original oil painting
Warm and cosy artwork depicting a tabby cat sleeping with her tongue out
Bright cobalt blue and rich burnt oranges
200gsm high quality art paper with a matte finish
My cat, Chonk, is just about the centre of my world. I've always envied how perfectly comfortable and restful she is when she sleeps - her body perfectly relaxed, her little pink tongue peeking out. I painted this to capture that gentle, warm and cosy feeling of turning my head and seeing her deep asleep on the back of the couch next to me.
Rich and warm these prints are ideal for adding colour and personality to the walls of the vets surgery waiting room, popping another face onto to the gallery wall of cat art at the cat cafe (If you don't have one you're doing cat cafes wrong!) or as a heartfelt gift for the shelter that brought you together with your own world centering little feline. Gift it to the cat lover in your life who's precious tabby also always sleeps with their tongue stuck out.
Colours may vary slightly between monitors.

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
