You can never have too many notebooks! Printed front and back with a high quality reproduction of my original oil painting inspired by the skating of Australian figure skater Kailani Craine. Capturing the moment the skater reaches the height of the jump, this print is a celebration of the peak of athletic accomplishment. The takeoff and first rotation of the triple jump are painted as fading after images while the figure in highest contrast is at the top of her jump. The glowing jewel tones of the blues and the bright warm skin tones stand out beautifully against the black background as the ice beneath the skater fades hazily into the horizon. This notebook would make an excellent gift for a figure skater, as a reminder that the jump can't peak without a takeoff, or for a fan of the sport who prefers a dark, rich aesthetic.

Frequently Asked Questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Custom and personalised orders
