Printed front and back with a high quality reproduction of an original oil painting capturing the rotation of an upright figure skating spin with ghostly after-image figures that fade into the dark background. The rich warm tones of the dress and skin glow against the black, and the bright white skates draw the eye along the lines of the figure. The dark background lends it a classic feel, while the unique subject matter, colours and visible brushstrokes provide a modern twist. Frequently Asked Questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Custom and personalised orders
