This print is a poster of an original oil painting inspired by the skating of Russian figure skater Alexandra Trusova and her 2022 Olympic silver medal winning Cruella performance. The skater is depicted in a haircutter spin position, her back arched as she reaches back to grasp the blade of her figure skate with one hand, while the other is held delicately against her chest. The inky black of her dress contrasts with the light background, while the fiery accents match her vibrant red hair.

Frequently Asked Questions

Gift wrapping and packaging

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!

Custom and personalised orders

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
