Giclée printed reproduction of an original oil painting
Figure skating sit spin
200gsm high quality art paper with a matte finish
Niina Petrokina is a two time European figure skating champion (2025&26) from Estonia. Her skating showcases power, athleticism, and true grit, with an incredible resilience under pressure. This spin study uses her Dune program as inspiration to celebrate her skill and talent while practicing the expression of movement in a static oil painting. The warm and cool tones are balances to create a surprisingly gentle image, in ode to the subtle interplay of intensity and grace in her performance.
Notes:
Original image is 18x24cm and will be cropped to fit paper size.
Colours may vary slightly between monitors.

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
