Italian figure skater Lara Naki Gutmann is renowned for her contemporary skating style and ability to create unique shapes on the ice that connect visually and emotionally to existing media. Her skating is cinematic. I chose this spin position from her 2025/26 Olympic program to the "Jaws" soundtrack (Dubbed "Sharknaki" by fans) because I was amazed by her ability to convey a shark like shape with a simple rearrangement of her limbs. The colours are harmonious, allowing her form to hold the viewers full attention without dominating any space it is displayed in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Custom and personalised orders
