Eye catching multifigure ice skating spin in motion art work
Energetic, elegant, and confident
Unframed

This poster is a reproduction of an original oil painting inspired by the skating of three time world figure skating champion Kaori Sakamoto. Perhaps her most iconic spin position is captured in multiple figures to depict the speed of rotation. She wears a black dress and gloves and grasps her ice skate blade with the opposite side hand to pull her foot above above her body, her other arm extended back across in a bow and arrow like illusion - all while spinning on one foot. Painted with saturated warm skin tones on an ice green background with visible brushstrokes, this is a contemporary and art poster.

Colours may vary slightly between monitors.
Original artwork is 30x40cm, other sizes will be cropped to fit paper size.
*This is an UNFRAMED poster. All pictured frames are display suggestions only.*

Frequently Asked Questions

Gift wrapping and packaging

I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!

Custom and personalised orders

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you're interested in a custom painting - I'll work with you to create something that lines up with your vision including providing you with digital mock up's before I start painting so you can rest assured that I understand what you're looking for. Bear in mind custom oil paintings can take several months to complete depending on size.
