Original oil painting inspired by the skating of Dasa GRM. Dasa is an inspiring athlete who's long career is a sign of her perseverance, bravery and incredible strength. Painted using stark contrast of blacks and whites with only the skaters body providing colour, this piece highlights the figure through a jump sequence in a unique and eye catching style. Almost abstract from a distance, this painting rewards the viewers attention without dominating the environment where it's displayed. The use of monochrome and neutral colours for a simple palette both allow the forms to be the focus of the piece and make it excellent for display as it will fit harmoniously into any space.
This painting is sold unframed and unmounted. I would advise mounting and framing the artwork behind glass to protect the painting for years to come.

Frequently Asked Questions
Gift wrapping and packaging
I pack paintings for shipping with several layers of plastic, paper, bubble wrap and cardboard for their safety. Wherever possible I try to recycle the packing materials used to ship my supplies and canvases to me, but I do generally use packing tape, and seal the painting in a single use plastic shipping bag. If you'd prefer that I ship your painting with no single use plastics, or even no plastic at all, send me a message after your order and I'll do what I can to accommodate!
Custom and personalised orders
